The Tritons women's golf team finished the season with an 11th place finish at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, but the future looks bright.

Over a three-day stretch, the Tritons were nothing if not consistent. The players shot 343-342-341 from April 14 to 16.

Sophomore Laila Fortsmane led the way as she has all year, shooting 81-77-79 for 36th place. Fortsmane finished the season with a stroke average of 77.7, the lowest in school history.

First-year Jessica Marks shot 84-88-86 in her first conference tournament. Marks finished strong with birdies on the first and 10th holes of her final round.

The Tritons say goodbye to three seniors this year. Senior Katie Vaux shot an 84 after back-to-back 89s. Fellow senior Ashley Strunk shot a career low 92 in her final round. Before having to withdraw from the tournament prior to her final round due to injury, senior Maddison Davis shot 89 and 88.

Lynn University defeated Barry University in a one-stroke victory to take the title of conference champion.
