New artists enter the music scene every single day.  Usually the artists will release a CD or mixtape with one or two good songs and the rest is nothing but filler.  To create an album that can be listened to without skipping a single song is very rare, especially for an up-and-coming act.  To put a series of three such albums together within a year is nearly impossible.  Plush Company, an Atlanta-area trio made up of T-Breezy, Tone Tino, and Justin Blake, has accomplished just that with their three mixtapes since July of 2010.

The first mixtape "The Company You Keep" introduced the group to the Atlanta music scene with a bang.  Songs like "Party Party" and "6 in the Mornin" give off a carefree vibe that motivates listeners to live life to the fullest.  The most well-known song on the first mixtape, and first music video to be released, "Kush Fever" is described on the group's Facebook page as "an anthem to their favorite pastime".

The second release lends smooth vocals, catchy hooks, and innovative rhyme styles to manifest the sound of a party lifestyle.  The opening track, which shares the title of the mixtape "Red Cup Music", tells the story of bar tabs, parties, red cups, women, and late nights.

"Heavy Rotation", the most recent mixtape, touches on all of the previous subjects in Plush Co. songs including partying, women, marijuana, and generally enjoying life.  The party track "Twizzy" has been featured on Atlanta radio and has produced another fun video to go along with the other four official music videos on the group's website and on YouTube.

Much of Plush Co.'s success comes from a close interaction with their fans.  The group enjoys performing live and has done many shows and hosted many events at bars and clubs all over Atlanta.  The group has been known, both during live concerts and party hosting appearances, to give out free drinks and copies of their mixtapes.  The "People Love Us Stop Hatin" anagram t-shirts can be seen all over Atlanta and every piece of merchandise offered by the group often sells out within a few days of receiving the shipment.

The trio does not confine themselves to any specific genre of music because the style of each song changes from one to the next, even on the same mixtape.  The group's main focus and motivation is to bring good music to the masses and promote the idea of enjoying life.  Many of Plush Co.'s songs will strike a personal chord with members of the Eckerd community.  Several songs about smoking marijuana, partying all night, and even a few songs for the ladies can be found on each mixtape.  All three of the Plush Company mixtapes can be downloaded for free on the group's website, www.thisistheco.com.
